Elysa Marden directs in New York City, regionally, and internationally. She has developed new plays with writers such as Liz Amberly, P. Seth Bauer, Mariana Carreno, Steven Fechter, Dana Leslie Goldstein, Henry Guzmán, Arlene Hutton, Glyn Maxwell, and Adina Ruskin at such venues as New Dramatists, York Theater Co., Puerto Rican Traveling Theatre, Verse Theatre Manhattan, Mabou Mines, Women’s Project, the A-Train Plays and, of course, the WorkShop. She served as Co-Artistic Director of the WorkShop 2003-2006. SSDC.
