Glenn Alterman
Recently won the first Julio T. Nunez Artists Grant. Also, the Arts and Letters Award In Drama for The Sealing of Ceil (read at The Workshop). He has won and been a finalist in over 27 national playwriting competitions including The 3 Genres (3 times), Actors Theater Louisville, Bloomington Playwriting, Pittsburgh New Works, Samuel French, Weissberger, others.
Goin’ Round On Rock Solid Ground, Unfamiliar Faces, and Words Unspoken were finalists at Actor’s Theater of Louisville.
Author of 16 best selling theater books, including 9 books of original monologues. All of his books are are sold internationally and have gone on to multiple printings.
The Pain In The Poetry, performed at The Workshop, was chosen 2 be in "The Best 10 Minute Plays of 2009" (Smith and Kraus).
Plays performed at Primary Stages, EST, Circle in The Square Downtown, HERE, LaMama, at the Duplex, Playwrights Horizons, as well as at many other theaters.
