I started acting at the ripe old age of 40 in the D.C. area doing musicals, plays and cabarets. I came To NY every week to study with the top teachers. I commuted for years because my family and I lived in MD.I loved working here, but as I was in MD.1/2 the time there were many missed opportunities.I don't regret the way it all happened, however. In NY I added film and TV to my resume.
I take great pleasure in being a character actress and I've done so many kinds of roles of varying ages.I've worked with many theaters in NYC. I'm a fixture at Columbia with the grad directors, playwrights and film makers many of whom are award winners.I've also work with grad writers at NYU many of whom have gone on to fame.I've won 2 acting awards.
The nice thing about acting is you can work as long as you can remember the lines.
