New York City. Moira, a successful editor, intends to have a child with her husband Lenny, yet he can neither satisfy her sexually nor, as a urologist determines, get her pregnant. Enter Gideon, a writer, who can do both. Dark, sensuous and wryly humorous, When It Rains explores the morally provocative and enigmatic landscape of one woman's erotic nature as she struggles to unite love, passion and conception in her life by any means necessary.
